How It Works
We guide you through every mandatory step on the FTA EmaraTax portal.
Trade licence, incorporation papers, owner IDs and authorised signatory details — we provide a tailored checklist for your entity type.
We verify your details, confirm registration eligibility and prepare your EmaraTax application with supporting documents in PDF format.
Your registration is submitted through EmaraTax. Once approved, your Corporate Tax TRN is issued by the Federal Tax Authority.
At year-end we compute your tax liability, prepare the return and file it within the 9-month deadline — including any relief elections.
FAQ
Answers to the questions UAE business owners ask most about registration, filing and compliance.
Any UAE-resident juridical person — including mainland LLCs, free zone companies and foreign entities with a permanent establishment — must register if revenue exceeds the FTA threshold. Natural persons must register when annual UAE business revenue crosses AED 1 million.
Once documents are ready, the EmaraTax application can be submitted within a few business days. The FTA typically processes within 20 business days. We track your application throughout.
Your Tax Registration Number (TRN) is the unique FTA identifier for your business — mandatory for filing returns, making payments and all EmaraTax correspondence.
Returns must be filed within 9 months of your financial year-end. A 31 December year-end means filing by 30 September the following year. Tax owed is payable by the same date.
Businesses with revenue of AED 3 million or less may elect Small Business Relief (SBR). You must still register and file — SBR is claimed on your return, not automatic.
The FTA imposes an administrative penalty of AED 10,000 for failing to register within the prescribed timeframe.
QFZP entities meeting conditions may benefit from 0% on qualifying income. Non-qualifying income is taxed at 9%. All free zone companies must register and file.
Trade licence, incorporation documents, Emirates ID & passport copies for 25%+ owners, authorised signatory details and letter of authorisation. Uploads must be PDF format (max 15 MB).
